Reading Notes: Gospel of Mark ; Part A

John the baptize was in the wilderness preaching and holding baptisms. He preached that one day someone much better them him would come and bring the Holy Spirit. Three days later Jesus came and baptized John in Jordan. As Jesus walked by the sea of Galilee, he took Simon and Andrew to become fishermen of men. He took James, and his brother John. As they continued on their journey they entered in the home of Simon where his wide was sick. Jesus took his hand and lifted her and the fever had left her body.

They entered the synagogue and came to a man with a withered hand. They all watched to see if Jesus would heal him on the sabbath. He told the man to reach out his hand and when he did his hand was healed. Jesus and his disciples went to the Sea of Galilee. When they got there there was a huge mass of people. Jesus worked many miracles and talked of the parables where Satan casting out Satan. Jesus stayed there beside the sea talking about the parables and said every man that has ears should hear of these.

They took a boat to the other side of the sea where they came across a man that was housing an unclean spirit. The spirit said his name was Legion; for there was many. Jesus told the spirit to leave  the man. About 2,000 spirits left the man and entered into swine. The swine ran down a hill into the sea where they drown. Jesus did more healings at this time and witnessed to man people.

John the baptist was placed in prison by King Herod and was soon beheaded under King Herod's order. When the Disciples heard about this they went to collect his body and placed it in a tomb to rest.

Jesus continued to preform miracles including the time where he collected five
 loaves of bread and two fish and multiplied it to feed 5,000. A second time he took some meat and seven loafs and fed 4,00 people

The miracles and preaches continued as Jesus made his journey.
